Default multigym cable

I've been offered a multigym which i'm keen on using but the cable has broke, does anyone know where I can get a cable for a Weider 8530 and are they easy to fit??

dunno mate i recently bought some steel cable from B&Q and it was only a couple of quid.
depends what it`d be like to make an end for it.

and whatever you buy, make sure you know what the tensile strength of the stuff is...and that its strong enough.

thanks for your comments. What kind of clip will i need on the end of it and how would you attach it to the cable? buying it from B&Q or hardware store makes sense.
