Describe your symptoms for me, what hurts, what makes the pain worse, better

Avoid pain provocing position. Cant really give good advice without an assessment. You may find lying on your stomache and doing a reverse push up with your pelvis held against the ground may help (this would be opposite of the pain provocing movement). If this helps you can do 10 of them 2-3 times a day..if not...dont. If it makes it worse..stop

You will be making things worse if you start messing around trying to do self-physiotherapy.You have to exept the fact that you are injured im affraid and take it on the chin. You have a slipped disc and Sciatica and these problems won't avert themselves with you rolling around on the floor at home.Wait to see the professionals.Take the time it takes to make it up the list by resting and learning about your injury.

hi neilly im just getting over the same thing but mine affected the femenal nurve which runs down the front of the leg.
did the physio thing was a waste of time
my advice would be to cosult an ostyopath costs but well worth it but in the mean time apply an ice pack to your lower back 5 or 6 times a day does wonders

I would have thought - ice pack if it's a new injury (for the first 1-2 days) then a heat pack?

Go and see a physio or a chiropractor or someone before attempting anything!
