| Illuminati | as some of you may know i`m looking at getting a back fusion op done in the next 4 months. docs told me i need to give up smoking for the op. i had hoped they were just being pain in the ass health freaks, but after some googling ive realised that smoking can have a major impact on the bone fusing post op. i dont like hearing stats cos they can be confusing and be made to exagerate results. it does seem tho that it can make a real difference in this case..... the prospect of the op alone is enuff to hook me up to a nicotine drip and the prospect of quitting prior to the op scares the crap outta me tbh. it seems i need to stop 1 month prior to the op and for at least 6 months after... ive used an asthma inhaler in the past so i cant be prescirbed any beta blockers which are the one thing on offer to help with stress(i`m a big stress smoker) i can hear all you non smokers saying how it`ll be good for me and the health benefits, but quite frankly i couldnt give a crap about all that lol. i dare say it says something about my entire lifestyle when i say that life without a smoke sounds insanely boring-but it does! i`m kinda glad ive stayed away from doing gear for the last year cos if not i`d be heavily tempted do a cycle pre-op-for a hit of well being to take the edge of things and knowing me its something i could get very into..... ever noticed how so many peeps with addictive personalites get into gear in a big way? still going to be a major temptor for me in the future non the less. it was one thing for me to quit hash earlier this year, but quitting baccy as well..... a very scary prospect ![]() ______________________ einsteins mind was the key to all things...to understand more than to know. www.englishmuscle.co.uk www.extremenutrition.co.uk |

| Banned Making Progress | Them patches are rubbish and so are everything else. Its all about WANTING TO GIVE UP AND WILLPOWER. I should know cause i gave up over 2 years ago. I found it easy to give up because i really hated smoking. But if you do enjoy it then its a real big challenge to stop Good luck cal |
