Spending all night laying on your shoulder or arm will pinch nerves and squash veins etc so its not suprising it hurts when you wake.I dont think steroid use has anything to do with it IMO.I quite enjoy the numb feeling of pins and needles in my hand first thing especially if the wifes on earlies and ive got to tug it myself.Almost feels like her hand,only bigger,with more grip.
