Take a look around the red light district in Bangkok very entertaining and the night market is good, just be careful of blokes coming up to you trying to take you to buy a suite – unless you want one. We went to the war cemeteries and Hell Fire pass which are both very sobering places but well worth a visit. We also stayed a night on a raft hotel in the middle of the jungle no electricity etc, so all there was to do was talk eat and drink etc, one of the best nights I’ve ever had. Great place to eat as a bodybuilder too, loads of chicken and fish the food from the street vendors is good – well didn’t upset my stomach and very cheap. If you go down south you’ve got to have a evening in Patong, loads of bars, bar girls lady boys and just about anything else you can think of and try the fried grasshoppers in the Aussie Bar, apparently I ate loads not that I can remember Oh and I can remember the nail bar that’s a blast but a good way of getting p155ed out of your head… |

In the main Thailand is Budhist - I like this story sort of gives hte vibe of hte place My Brother in Law runs a retail chain out there, there's two dogs live outside the shop where is office is, the staff bring them food. One day he shouted at one of the dogs to move it out of the doorway and it bit his leg. So he had a rant at the staff who refused to upset the dog as it has its own life to live, so he phoned the police who had the same attitude. The dogs are still there and the staff still feed them We saw loads of dogs roaming about, would have loved to bring one back but what with qurantine etc but in general all looked well fed. got a great phot of H with a load of dogs on the beech. |
