I just wondered what ur thoughts were, whether you thought his parents were feeding him steroids or whether you think he was natural. Today was the first time I've seen this kid and it evoked some pretty strong feeling in me. I couldn't help but speculate as to what his parents were thinking encouraging him to weight train since he was 2 years old, can this be could for a growing CHILD?? Alot of you guys know a shed load more than I do so I was just interested in ur take on this. |

I think it's cool, so long as his parents were not actually giving the kid steroids. But then I am a fan of things in life that are not classed as "normal" and this kid certainly isn't a "normal" boy Apparenltly Richard Sandrak is now 16yrs old & 5' 8'' tall. His parents were short, so it doesnt seem to have affected the boys growth. ![]() Last edited by Mr.Accutane; 01-11-2007 at 06:50 PM. |

That said, as we all know, "opinions are like arseholes" and it does devalue someones acievements to assume they are on gear when they may not be. Good point about the growth thing, I actually saw a pic of him now and he looks like an everyday teenager in good shape, he's still got awesome abs but he looks of average size and build. I just remember being told as a child that weight training should not be undertaken until early teens but as u rightly say, his training doesn't seem to have affected his growth. |

I also felt for the kid as he has been the subject of something of a media circus and would have been under massive pressure. As I said earlier though, it is difficult to comment without making assumptions, even though the majority of the observers would suspect some level of drug use which I am sure everyone would agree, for a child it is completely immoral. |

I can't see how a young child can develop muscles or condition like that, naturally he wouldn't have enough testosterone, he also looks pretty damn dry so maybe also diuretics, look at the photo it looks wrong a child’s face on a ripped torso - no way on earth is that natural. Drugs aside there’s the training regime and diet he would have had to undertaken to look like that, anyone who has dieted to get in that condition will know how it feels. In my mind I’m quite clear it's child abuse that boy is not old enough to make such decisions, and for the sake of money his child hood has been stolen. We have years of adulthood to do as we wish and push ourselves to the extreme if we wish to do so with all the pressures that brings and only a very few years of childhood to be a child to take that from a person is terrible. |
