Default Minor (I hope) back injury

please move or suggest different section if needed. ta

spot the test newbie. I was feeling bold & chunky on Sunday in muscleworks doing deadlifts so thought I'd push meself. I was on the very last set and added the tiny eensy weights total 2 1/2 kilos, lifted the bar BUT my back very quickly said NO.

There wasn't actually any pain but a kind of dull thud sort of thing so I put the bar right down. I did loads of stretching then carried on with the rest of the routine. Since then it's just felt stiff especially first thing in the morning -ooer.
anyway what do people reckon? Should I train or just leave well alone for a few days. Back's once a week so that won't be an issue till Sunday. I felt frustrated as I'm in my very last week of shots so I thought I was over acting stupid. Also please bear in mind (if it matters) that I'm 43. Advice & opinions please.

not so much advice-more an opinion-
2.5kg`s is not an eensy weensy extra weight!
thats nearly 3 workouts of increments for me-
other exercises - the increments are 1lb a week

i defo wouldnt train until i was feeling 100% again-
you shoulda stop workout imediately bud-
i learnt that one the other week-
only had a week off instead of at least 3 by doing so
have you ever heard of or tried trigger point therapy-
i find when youre backs still hurting stretching can make an injury worse-
trigger point never has for me.
(BTW 40 in 5 months)
