Default decorating

me and bodyworks have been decorating the gym, painting the machines wall everything, finally got finished this weekend apart from a few little bits to do.

date started jan 2006 so its taken us nearly a year well machines nearly a year got all the walls done last week in some after hour painting sessions!

now i have a problem well i have many but this is the main one at the moment along the bottom of the wall i have stuck vinyl floor tiles to protect the wall when weight plates are lent against them.

problem we ran out of tiles just need a few more boxes (well 7 to be honest) had a trip to b and q this morning only to find the tiles have been discontinued and they only had some peach coloured ones left.

anyone any ideas, i'll get some pictures up when i remember to bring the camera in

xxx

I would assume they have already done this but just in case they did not, B & Q have a system where they can see what other branches have around the UK so it may be another branch say birmingham or even Stoke may have them in, ask them to check there system. Im sure that regular uses on here would not mind getting them for you and posting to you.

All the best hope ive helped,

OK worth a go, try putting the picture up then i can check my B & Q's out for you. Don't worrry about me putting myself out as i spend most of my life in these type of shops. im always doing stuff to houses. Just a thought sometimes Homebase have the same tyles as B & Q, worth checking them out.

Post pic up and i will try my best for you.

What about using some old carpet tiles in the intermediary period.
Helps deaden the noise a bit too!! 8)

i'm sure gym members will have old ones knockin' about in attics and suchlike. Give you a bit of time to find what your after.
Save your walls too

Alternatively, just scream maniacally at the next person to lean a plate against the wall and everyone will be too sh1t scared to go near the walls again
Or is that not helpful!?

cool, ill check them out over the next few days. I know you can get lino the same patern from a carpet shop as it's a popular design in kitchens, my camper van has this type of flooring, (that makes me sound really old and boring) im 36 i drive an Audi A4 cab,(now thats more young and interesting) lol, the camper van was just for the odd weekend away so we could take the dogs with us.

So try a carpet shop and you can use a can of adhesive to get it to stick to the walls.

All the best.
