did anyone see the fight i watched it thought he would have done alot better, athlo that other chap was in there all in all was good to see a all out fight 8)

not as good as the joe - lasy fight now that was a gooden 8)

it was a scrappy affair but I've seen a lot worse, the match with big Welsh guy who dropped the bald guy in the first could have been good, I've seen both of them box before and both are usually good.

The big welsh guy your talking about Dougie is Enzo Maccarinelli he is a very hard punching Cruiserweight.

i thought it was a decent fight... at least calzaghe admitted he was not at his best and he was dissappointed in himself... dont think any of the punches hurt calzaghe... but i think same could be said the other way... i think calzaghe early on knowing he wasnt at his best was egging the guy on to come at him to create an opening for himself... but once he got that cut (dirty ****) he had to change tactics! but still outboxed the guy!

it bothers me that audley harrison and amir khan were given instant superstardom... this guys been grafting for years (as a champion) but probably outside of boxing is less known than them!!

thats so true, even after the lacy bout i still feel that he needs to do more to get noticed, a fight with hopkins would be great

totally agree, Calzaghe earned his name and his title(s). the Lacy fight is the best i've ever seen from british hands. totally and utterly mind blowing work rate and accuracy in the Lacy fight. it was beautiful to watch, even for those who are not into boxing.

i like watching Calzaghe fight, but on saturday when he walked into the ring he acted really ****y this may have just been beause he was hyped up for the fight but i think one of the appeals of Calzaghe is that he isnt big headed and acts really down to earth, dropping is hands was a bit overconfident as well

i think he did this for the american audience... was the same with dropping his hands too... im no expert but many americans dont give the brits the crdeit they deserve... so as has been said... they dont get to fight the top top names from over there until theyve fully made it... same happened to naseem hamed... until the end of his career he never got the big fights from over the water.... and when he did he was found wanting.....

i think calzaghe wanted to draw attention to himself so that the americans take him seriously! such a shame he couldnt take the cut from the head butting and go on to knock the guy out! that would have shown just how good he really is!
