I've just been on Muscle Freaks and saw this post from DQ's wife. As he is well known to this forum, I thought people might be interested:

"hey guys, i thought that some of you may want to hear this news but my hubby Phil has just got out of icu after 10 days fighting for his life, he is now safe but is also never going to be able to train ever again, his heart stopped 3 times and he now is barely able to walk evern with a walking stick. thanks louise"

Shocking news but at least it seems he's out of danger.Best wishes to Phil, his wife and kids

Although me and him never really saw eye to eye, many condolences to him and his family! (Cal i assume that this is related to him dropping off the face of the earth...)

Wow, Shit I'm sure most people on this board know me and him were never best of friends but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I'm glad he is ok now.

Was his condition anything to do with gear use? Just as I'm not sure if Nick knows or is just guessing as that could happen for a number of reasons. Anyway I'm glad he is ok.

Guys i can tell you 100% that phils current situation isnt down to over indulgence in steroids!, his current situation is complecated to say the least, but the man has been through the mill lately and if i could tell you the whole situation you would see him in a different light.

obviously people are talking and saying that his condition is down to steroids, this isnt true!.

I know phill liked his long cycles but it is wrong to assume that it is this that has put him in hospital without any real evidence to back up the claims, there are other boards that will remain nameless that have already started the witch hunt against him because they to assumed it was the cycle length that caused it, i have tried to stop this rumour from progressing as its just not true, and not fair on phil.

so like i said to the other boards, it wasnt AAS that put him in hospital and if people could have a little respect for the guy that would be great.

This is one of the boards that i havent seen anybody post negative comments about him, so it just shows the quality of the board and that even tho all the guys didnt get on... we all have respect for each other.

Yep I agree with Caymen as I said in my post I have no idea about whats going on but there are many reasons as to why things like this happen and its an easy conclusion to jump to but thats only because of limited info.
