Its 1/3 of internet traffic for a reason. Thing is with uTorrent you need to tweak it so that the settings are all correct for your computer! There is a good guide on the uTorrent forum so its worth checking out!!!!! site wise.... well for torrents I use alot of private sites that require invites etc to get on (tis why I can max my connection with downloads) an episode of a tv show in 5 minutes at HD quality! A more public site with alot of content is www.demonoid.com its not the fastest site in the world but just tends to have everything on it though. However one application that is good for downloading is DC++ (it can be fast as **** when you download off all the scandinavian servers). You might want to use a ratio cheater on it though otherwise you wont be able to download some content. Another good possibility which I haven't really explored personally is Usenet community where you pay like 10 quid a month and can download a shit load of stuff and at a very fast rate is apparently good. But overall I would say Torrents is the most effective way of getting what you want and quickly. Splint |
