My missis woke me about 15 minuites ago to tell me tha steve irwin had died from a stingray sting of all things, well its left me feeling very gutted because i thought the guy was as mad as a hatter but i sure liked watching his Documentarys.

Gutted to hear that - came accross as a really nice guy with a genuine passion for a good cause.

Thoughts with his wife and family at this time.

i was shocked when i heard the news this morning, guess it just goes to show that knowbody is invincible, but a stingray of all things.

Ive never seen so many threads on different forums about one guy dying, i guess everyone loved him so much but it didnt really show till he died

Steve was great, every show he appeared in entertained me. Especially South Park.

Not sure how true it is, but theres ppl saying if he didnt remove the barbed needle he would have survived.
