Default Used Tubs

has anyone got any (sensible) ideas on what to do with empty supplement tubs. It seems an environmental issue just to bung them in the recycling bin.

I get through about 3 tubs a month and we have put some to use but most go in the recycling rubbish.

Things we have used the tubs for:
* Pens and pencils holder
* Tub to collect 1p and 2ps
* Large container for oats (saves storage space on all those boxes)
* Wrapped biscuits (not for me of course but the rest of the family)
* Batteries

I could go on and on and I hope I've given some valuable household tips here. We never get rid of the end bits of soap either - we give them to people with very small hands
