i watched this the other week.... and i must say, im a big fan of horror films.. but lately the gore level is just getting pointless... its all about watching sick things rather than leaving that up to the minds imagination... most horror films are the same these days too! this film would have been much better if it had less gore in it in my opinion!

i do think its a sad state of affairs that with all the sick sh*t that goes on in this world film producers feel theres a need to show such graphic content... my wife studied psychology and the effect that films such as these CAN and DO have on people really is a bad thing!

i always used to think people could de-sensitise themsleves to violence like this (maybe its just me that can lol)... until a girl i once worked with pointed out that if you can watch a film that subconstiously makes you feel good without knowing it.. then surely the opposite can be true??? adn many vulnerable people can have reactions to this!

okay ill get off my soapbox now... on a lighter note i went to the cinema yesterday and watched my super ex-girlfriend.... the character uma thurman plays reminded me sooooooooooooooo much of my ex it was unbelievable!!! lol

another good film suggestion.. welcome to the jungle!! fantastic film!
