It wasn't to painfull, just numb.... until that is I got it out of the tight confines of my shoe, then they had room to swell up big time. Ewww...

Think it depends on the type of bone broken.
I broke my 5th meta-tarsal, the bone that joins to your little toe - after an unsuccessful landing when vaulting a street railing half-cut. Its fused, but as it couldnt be bound its knitted together a bit oddly and now sticks out a far bit more than it should.

I think if you break your toes rather than the bones within your foot, you have a much better chance of it healing straight.

i broke (and i`m going to spell this wrong schafoid bone)-**** it a bone in my wrist, had it pinned with a bone graft (from my hip)
the graft never took-
its something to do with the blood supply to the bone-(which is wht the bone doesnt mend)
i`m told i will have arthritis in it in later life and movement of my wrist is still restricted-
just another in the list of pains i have
btw funbos my wrist still hurts years later, but i have found magnet therapy to be really helpful-
which is ok for me cos i can wear it on my wrist-dont think they do them for feet-
theyre good tho cos i got for both the dogs too(collars)£30 a go and well worth it

Mine was 2 bones along from the scafoid and it took a few flakes off it which will never re-attach due to the constant moving of the wrist, sometimes it can hurt a bit if benching or shoulder pressing or even bending my hands back to grip the bar for squatting.

The real fukker is if I have to brake hard on my bike and all the weight is transferred onto my wrists, it hasn't effected my abilitly to shake hands with my best friend tho!

Why did I jump from the window? Lets say she was 6'2 with the equal longest hip to ankle leg length in the world and I had to take a short cut out her apartment block.

YG the protein I was working on at the time was Extreme Performance Elevation & Levitation, it never got passed the testing stage tho.
