Default Neck pain. help please!

I woke up the other morning with a sharpish pain that started in my traps and went all the way up the the base of my skull. two weeks later its still there, but a lot less painfull. more of a dull ache with a bit of tightness. havent trained for two weeks, arrrrgghhh!

apart from going to the doctors, which i will do in the next couple of days, has anyone got any advice or have sufferd from something similar. thanks

Sounds like it may be nerve-related. I suffered from something similar the other week, went to acupuncture and feeling about 85% better. Sometimes these things just take time, but to speed up the healing process, I strongly recommend accupuncture
