The pain radiates right up into the sides of my hands, feels like the bones are freezing untill they start to burn. Not nice! And always when doing biceps. I starting doing more lat pull downs and assisted chin ups as theese really hit my biceps without the bone pain!!! Hopefully some knowledgable person will know what it is and help us both! xx |

| Under Construction | Hey Dude. I had this same problem when I first got into lifting. My forearms used to KILL me when doing curls all the way up my bone. Particularly when doing preacher curls. I quicky found out that I was overtraining and not giving myself enough recovery time. What I did to get rid of and prevent this from happening again was take 2 weeks off from lifting, and then adjusted my training program to one day training, one day recover ect. Your muscles aren't the only things that need to recover after working out, so do your joint's, tendons, and more. I quickly found this out when I first got into lifting and was stupid and had the "more I workout, the bigger I get" type of attitude. Taking two weeks off now to recover and adjusting your training will help you in the long run because you will be able to train at %100 in the gym after you go back instead of hitting it at 70 or 80 % because of unbearable forearm pain. Hope this helps. -Fortdaddy |

I had this same problem until I started to do heavy forearm curls in with my routine. As soon as the muscles of my forearms adjusted to the weight and got stronger, the bone pain vanished. |
