Default Natural supp. to counteract acne?

Hey guys,

As some of you already know, I started my first cycle last thurs evening (quite possibly one of the most nerve-recking experiences of my life ). Not sure if this is related to gear use or not (seeing as I started just under a week ago), but I have been starting to break out quite a bit on my upper tri-ceps and the front of my delts. Any recommendations as to what will help this? I am currently taking B-5. I would prefer a natural supplement, don't really want any more drugs or anything that would hinder the sex drive

Any suggestions...?

Razg..?

This should probably be in the supplements forum.

Anyway, the main drug used for acne is Accutane (which happens to work in a very similar manner to B5 anyway pharamacologically speaking - it was actually designed based on B5's method of action).

Other than that, I believe sunbeds (or real sun if you live somewhere appropriate are the best way of reducing acne).

I'm sure guys with cycle experience will be able to point out a few other things though.

accutane and particularly ro-accutane is a very strong drug, i definitely wouldnt use it on-cycle. I was on the verge of using it (prescribed obviously) in my teens but decided against it, because of its sideeffects (skin sensitivity, dryness in the mouth, eyes, skin, rash, depression) etc.

it is used by some though.

stick to B5 for natural supplements, and just make sure you exfoliate your oily areas !!

No new input from me but just saying that Vit b5 worked great for me at ~6g a day , 3 in the morning and 3 at night in my shakes.

**** Accutane, that crap will kill your ass. Think about it. you cant take it if your pregnent at all..if i can cause birth defects dont bother taking that crap. besides i took it and could not eat certin foods from it. Its prolly a drug i would never let me or anyone I know use it. maybe if you take a bath on a regular basis you wont breakout(jk)..oh and eat better cals..not any of that gressy crap. clean pors is clean skin. use facial scrubs and also take showers more often. besides how bad is it? large or small acme?

...in addition to the above...shower 3x/day (morning, after workout, before bed) and maybe try anti-bacterial soap (even dish detergent i hear works well)...

There's a drug called 'Oxytetracycline', it sorted me out, only for spots to mild Acne though. No side effects, can give you an 'off' stomach for the first few days but thats it..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxytetracycline

not sure if you can buy it, might only be a prescribed medicen?

Just a quick note about Accutane or Roaccutane. I was on the last in my teems for bad acne (nothing to do with gear). Both are heavy on the liver and I had regular blood tests taken to monitor effects. Since a cycle may be putting a strain on the leiver best to leave this extra drug out of the picture.
