Jeffs face was cut and very bloody and yet his corner refused to pull him out of the fight as they were hoping he could let one big punch go and end it and bring joe and his dreams crashing down.....but this wasnt going to happen!, jeff lacy had gotten to the stage were he literaly became a punchbag for joe, joe jabbed him and moved then unleashed another barrage of punches knocking jeffs head in all directions and totaly disorientating him, joe continued to do this all the way through the fight, even when lacy got the opertunity to get in close up were he likes to fight he got taught a lesson from joe with some very big hard punches, what ever lacy tried he was just stopped in his tracks and joe proceded to take him apart piece by piece and resulting in the final results of a massive win on points for joe calzaghe, he also won every round even when he had a point deducted for a suspect punch he had thrown!. Pure class, well done Joe 11:25 sunday, repeat of the fight |

| Illuminati | that was the most dominant sporting display by a brit that i can remember seeing- imo it was even more exciting than benn v mcclellen- i`d like to see joe fight tarver or winky wright(who i think is the no.1 pound per pound man-(politics!) what a change - from the heavy weight bullshit thats been on recently, from watching england scrape a lucky win, from thinking lennox was going down cos he got hit on the jaw(and i liked him),from henman bottling it one more time-i`m sick to death of brave british performances that inevitably end in defeat..... lets hope amir khan and andrew murray live up to expectations-its about fecking time! ha ha - should this be in the rant forum? |
