...I tried to change my avatar and all I get is the little red X...what the hell...anyone else got this prob?

Make sure the image is in the dimension of 120*120 pixels @ 10 kilobytes.

http://www.imageshack.us they will provide all the different types of links you could need including avatar etc.. should work fine!

Doesn't every user has a 50mb quota though so you should be able to directly upload to your user area if linking it does not work!
