I'm basically looking to add more of a variety to the types of foods I am eating as far as carbohydrates go... I eat all my sandwiches on either whole wheat bread, multi-grain, or rye...also a fan of oatmeal... What does your diet consist of as far as carbs go...? Guess I'm just looking to get more creative, without having to cook ![]() |

| Making Progress Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Edinburgh Posts: 121 Rep Power: ![]() | Wholemeal pasta, brown rice, oatmeal Try sweet potatoes - they're really nice cut into wedges and oven baked with some rosemary, pepper and salt. I suppose my main carb sources are oatmeal for breakfast, wholemeal bread (toast or a Subway) for lunch and then some type of potato rice or pasta for dinner. and sometimes i add oatmeal to protein shakes during the day or have fruit if i want simple carbs. |
