Default Anyone in to their cars?

Any petrol heads in here?

I drive an Escort RS Cosworth with a 440bhp Harvey gibbs engine and loads of other over expensive parts that the missus absoluley hates


anyone else got anything remotley interesting now or in the pipeline?

gave all that up m8 as i was gettin old lol but last one i built was a xr4i engine was bored out to 3.2 and a twin turbo tecnicks converstion,the pic does not show up the rainbow flakes but was kool in the sun light,but then again im lookin at a rather taste full audi 80 sport at the moment thats been slitely modded

not quite the same thing-but i had a morris minor with a 2litre twin cam-flip front-big wheels-went from bright yellow-to satin black-now have a satin black v8 land rover -i think a pattern is emerging-i`ll try and dig out some pics

thats a bit bright isnt it mate!

heres mine.. nearly finished. Should be good for 0-60 around 3.5 secs
1/4 mile in about 12
top speed around 170/180

4wd, 2 bar of boost and anti lag and a quaife gearbox and fr diff

cant see it far off 3.5

a 500bhp escort cossie did a 2.9 at bruntingthorpe! (Datron timed) 8)

why do people buy 250k cars like the maclaren then to get those sort of speeds when they can do it in a suped up ford escort?

set up?

Its a T38 turbo. The car itself was engine dyno'd at 440 brake before I put it in the car.
