I'd get a floor stand for it - ok you can't get all round the bag but you can't hanging it off of a wall either. I once cracked the bricks after a couple of years use so I don't like wall brackets...

I got a nice leather 4ft Lonsdale bag and a big ceiling bracket that we screwed into the beams of my mates dad's garage with 2 huge 6 inch gripper screws. It worked a treat, did'nt move an inch. The only problem was that where me and my mate were beating this bag so hard, fists and feet and all, that we caused the garage to literally crack right through the middle like there had just been a 5.0 Ricter quake!

His dad was'nt impressed, lol,so now it hangs in my back yard on a metal frame held down by old vinyl weights.

Couple of scaffold poles from a scrappie across the top of the garage walls, padded where the metal meets brick (so you don't pulverize brick). One might be too bouncy, use two and a couple of brackets to stop the chain/bag sliding about.
