I was in the outcast/weirdo group at school (I've got ginger hair and I was 5 foot 5 when I left school at 16) ALl my mates were strange oddballs too but best friends I ever had cos there was no bullshit to worry about Anyway, everytime I run into someone from my old school its always the same, they are 28/29 look about 40, big gut, (and these were the football playing popular fit people) Big shock for them too cos I grew to 6 inches and am 220lbs (atm) and I wa the nerdy bloke that not many people liked! Bet this happens all the time but I didn't even start weights because of that Oh yeah, Its even funnier when I meet girls from my year :-), never a bit interested in me at school, blushing and embarrased everytime now! Old and fat at 28/29, not a life for me It does make me pissed off though as to how much people base their opinion of you on appearance (I've probably done it too) I'm pretty much the same guy I've always been, but the reaction I get from people is very different. When women speak to me in the gym its very nice and flattering but sometimes I think "they wouldn't be a slightest bit interested in even talking to me if I diun't look like this" I guess I know how women feel most of the time :-) ______________________ 50% of Training is nutrition 50% of Training is not overtraining If you cant gain see the above. |

Yeah I know the ones, "I could have turned professional but I had other commitments, an injury, (insert what other excuses you heard!)"Yeah it makes me laugh when I see old school friends. Especialy the ones that used to think they were a bit on the hard size, friggin hilarious now when I stand next to someone in the bar and make sure I flex my arm as I tak a drink! lol (okay so the arm flexing is a bit sad) | |
