Default Steroid injections

I'm having a bit if trouble with my shoulder it's hurting like ****, I wonered if a Steroid injection would calm the pain?

if anything it will make it worse. the only steroid they inject into injured muscles is cortisol to stop the swelling and trust me you dont want that.

Went to see a sports massage specialist the other day, he's trying to work his stuff on my shoulder.
