When i say old ways i mean no training to purposly enhance physique or health, also slap dash attitued towards food like a huge percentage of people, ie you eat what tastes the best and not care too much about calorie or nutrition. Obviously the answer will be no you couldnt go back to that way of life or you were never like that because im on a bb forum but i think there should be done more at school ie the odd class a week regarding knowledge of diet and fitness, not anything to do with bb like bulking up and stuff but general health and fitness. Many people aint got an idea where to get there complex carbs from and what they should be eating or what exersise actually does. Not that i give a shit aslong as my familly and freinds are ok but i reckon if people knew more they could basicly mayby live longer and reduce health and medical costs in the uk, im just surprised more aint been done. |

You know olympic bar by itself and 1 kg per side, would suffice. Health is not taken seriously enough at school, I think the competetive edge needs to be introduced as this will get the kids to run about more and eat less as they would want to be better then others. As UK's kids health is deteriorating as we are become the next America which is not good. Soon it will be the fat kids bullying the skinny kids for being skinng; is that right? You learn alot more once you get into the body building life, especially on the diet side. I get called a little crazy and I am sure you do too about how and what you eat and measurements etc... I could never go back to my old lifestyle and I think I speak for everyone on the board when I say I dont think anyone else here would as well. Too much more to learn and lots more fun to had and of course gains etc. Peace out Splint |

| Illuminati | i used to weigh nine and a half stone-went down to nine after a particularly heavy couple of months of being a total ****wit-(some peeps probably still think i am ha-ah)thank god for my vanity-i went to see a nutritionalist, stopped driving everywhere, began walking everywhere instead-the obsession had begun, once i had walked off any excess body fat(yes,i was skinny with abit off back fat-ewww)i started weight training and havent looked back since-my back gives me grief on a daily basis,i`ve picked up niggling reoccuring injuries which continually set back my progress(2 steps forward one step back),but i wouldnt swap any of this for the 2 + stones i have gained(i used to train with appalling form(on top of a worn vertebae)although i like to think my form is impeccable now-it has to be)dont think of myself as a body builder(strength trainer?),but no i couldnt go back to my pre training days-weight training has saved me from myself and kept me on the straight and narrow.(relatively speaking) ![]()
