| Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Bristol Posts: 3,230 Rep Power: ![]() | me ! especially if i'm doing my crazy chest drop sets: start on something high but manageable, i.e. 90kgs. do as many reps as possible to absolute failure. then drop to 60, to failure again. then drop to 40, again to failure then drop to just the bar (20) and have your spotter push negative and positive against the bar 10 times, making sure that it is extremely slow. by the 6th or seventh rep i've usually screamed the house down, and the spotter is having to lift some of the weight of the bar for me ! also, when i do leg presses and deadlifts i like to grunt, but more like a manly roar nick ______________________ - Obsession is what lazy people call dedication - |
