where is everyone from?

since i feel like i know you all so personally and youre all invited to my place any time you happen to be in florida (garry, you are not allowed in my fridge!) where is everyone from? im origionally from iowa but live in florida. im of scot- irish and german decent mostly which is why i want to come over there so badly. so lets hear it!

Hi buddy, i live in livingston, west lothian, about 10 miles from edinburgh, as you can see i have been part of the board for a while, and only just coming back, bit of a miami dolphins fan.

i didnt know you all followed american football! i havent been up on it lately but i do usually try to watch the big games. did you follow them last season. that was their new quarter backs first season with them. i think he did well, though dan marino is a living legend and certainly one of the greatest players in the sport.

we just had a scottish rites fest out here and they were doing all of the strongman stuff and those things never cease to amaze me, a guy tossed a 50 odd lb weight over a bar 16 1/2 ft in the air...maybe no world record but thats like tossing a sack of dog food up to the second floor of a building...scary! and i love the bagpipe music they have too. people over here think im wierd.

I'm from Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent to be exact.

If you went to a big hotel anywhere in the world once upon a time chances are you would be eating off a plate made here.

It's a bit of a shit hole now most of the major manufacturers have gone bust or sold up....

sad to hear when that happens to a nice town. my grandfathers home town is being overrun by crack dealers and meth lab owners. its a tiny farming community. i remember being a kid there and everyone knew everyone and you never had to worry about your kids, i would love to go back there and bust some skulls.
