Default smoking

hi just wondering how much smoking damages training? i ask this because i read the undercover pro artical on bodybuilding.com and in there he says alot of pro bodybuilders smoke weed to increase appetite and there are no real damages, if weed doesnt affect muscle growth, will tobaco???

it would be hard to say weather it would affect muscle growth but it will affect your fitness when training and doing cardio.

it's proberly just an old wives tale but they say smoking stunts your growth

weed wont have the 15000 odd extra chemicals added that tobaco is said to

Both affect you testosterone levels, the difference between the two apart from the chemical additives is that smoking tobacco closes your airways effecting breathing, however pure weed (not resin) dilates the airways allowing easier breathing.

p.s. I used to be a pesticide sprayer on plants at a commercial nursery and after all the dangerous chemicals I used to kill pests NICOTINE was the worst and most dangerous, it was the only chemical that I had to close the entire glasshouse up and be FULLY airtight from head to toe. Seeing how it kills aphids under a microscope was mad shit.

Quit the smoking mate, The best session I have ever had was the day I gave up and I have never looked back, be prepared to work through it and get ready to cough up and crap some nasty stuff.

J

especially with ambitions like that on your wee comment!
its pointless. those would need discipline to acheive so to quit would be a first step!

i smoked for 3 years and then one day i was walking up the 3 flights of stairs to my apartment and by the time i got to the top i was breathing hard, i decided there was nothing worth that, especially as i was only 22. right after that was when i started training. just make sure you dont drop one bad habit for another, i gained somewhere near 15-20 lbs of chub cuz when i quit smoking, i started eating bad.
