Default TRAINING WHEN YOU HAVE A COLD?????????

Chaps, simple question when you have a cold do you lot stop training or not? Im not talking in bed dying sort of cold, but more of a runny nose, aches etc? all views appreciated!!!!!!!!!

when i get a cold, i,m useless to everything.

i make sure i recover properly before training again

I wouldn't recommend any intensive training while you are sick.

I tend however to just do a little bit of 'heart warmer' cardio, just a very low intensity once I know im over the worst of it. It helps get some fresh nutrients pumping around your body, and gives you a psychological boost which can often be important when stimulating your immune system.

You could also boost your intake of vitamins and antioxidents, this can help you recover more quickly.

yeah i agree with the vits, i take quite abit of vitamin c, i find this helps me recover quicker,

i also make sure i drink alot of water to wash the cold through

Just had a bad cold over christmas which stopped me training for a week and only managed 1 solid meal in 4 days.
I'm a complete wuss when ill ops:
