You'll be alright with the drug test. Its similar to the military test and they dont pick up steroids/hormones. They'll do that reverse psychology crap by asking for your honest views on taking steroids/drugs and whether you'd consider it. Then they'll ask for you to be honest about any usage saying it wont damage your chances now if you tell the truth.
They did this with my class (Cunningham 38, HMS Raleigh 1988) and also asked about past criminal offences, convicted or not. I lied and said the sun shone out my butt, but those that did tell them something were never seen again.

Cheers David! Thanks for the info. The blood test thing has been on my mind for a while, hence the reason I haven't used any PH's for a while. Judging by the news over the past while, they only want a blood sample so they have your DNA!
