1000 MEMBERS V CHARITY

Hi all, Because i am a fairly sad bloke/anorak, and i dont get out much, means that i have a little money i stash away pound coins in a shoe box, but at this rate the board could have its 1000th member before the year is out, i am going to give Steve 100 quid, i know its not much nowadays, to a charity of the boards choice, when the magic number comes up, id only gamble it or waste it and id like to make a contribution, as i get support from a charity (not financial), and the cost of sending someone out or a newsletter etc is very expensive, it would also be a nice gesture if a lot of the members gave a quid or two when the number comes up, only if they can afford it, this is not a pushy suggestion it is something i want to do only if steve allows it. Everyones thoughts on this one would be appreciated.
