Hiya Steve,

Nope, nothing mate, mind you I have allsorts of stuff on my PC to stop this and stop that etc I dont get anything like that.

Try Google for a Pop-Up Stopper, there are lots of them FREE and yes they are good (even if there are free doesnt mean they are shit).

First of Steve, you could have Spyware on your PC and this can make pop-ups appear (even if you have the best pop-up stoppers etc etc).

I had this spyware on my PC from going to certain pornsites it is installed on your PC without you knowing and then it causes hassel and the only way to get rid of it is to re-format your hard drive and install everything again or edit your registary on your PC (very dangeous if you dont know what your doing). What some bastards will do to spy on you eh?

Hopefully it isnt that, but it cant be ruled out mate.

I'll take a look at that Coffe Cup thing in a bit mate.

Secondly: -

This applies to all members of this forum (although not a good place to put this as many people will miss it). But here goes....

When you find an image you like anywhere on the net or even if you create one (like I have done for all the moderators on this board and for Steve himself) you will need to store it on a website somewhere and when you do you then link from it by right clicking on the image.

Right click on my image now and you will see the word "Properties" click that and it will display the url of the website where the image is held. What you need to do is copy and paste that into the area (on your profile) and make sure you press delete on your current avatar and paste the url into the bit which says to upload from a website/off the net.

Thats it. I know its easy for me to say but it really is.

If anyone is stuck let me know I will allow some members (first come first serve) store a imagew on my website and provide you with the url you need to paste into that area on your prfile and your up and running.

Limited to a maximum of 20 people, sorry but I may be charged for the space and hotlinking.

Its the bit that says: -

Link to off-site Avatar:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to.

That is the bit you want to post your url in not the others. You knackered the others Steve Im afraid when you said you was messing about with the board and did this and that...lol
