Uploading avatars

is there a problem with uploading your own avatars? I've tried the uploading from my machine and got a bunch of error messages and I've tried using a seperate URL to my own webspace and just got the image placeholder, it was defo the right url

the image was bellow 10kb and within the max size allowed.

i had a fiddle about with it yesterday mate,keep getting a load of error messages,i think there must be some sort of strange bug.

probably ****ed up a mod at the beginning

i could always add the pic to the avatar selection and you could upload it that way?if you dont mind others using it

thanks for checkin it out steve m8. its cool though, it was just something I tried , it ****ed up and I wasnt sure if the problem was on my machine or not.
its no biggie bud but thanks for looking into it. I wont bother sending you that picture of my knob I was gonna us as an avatar :shock:
