Why do you have to cut out cottage cheese Cell?Id replace it with 3 scrambled Eggs then bud.Should be around the 18-20g of casein mark.Heres that high protein foods site that i used before, have a look at what you think might be viable.

Protein - High-Protein Foods and Amount of Protein in Each Food

all the best

There may be a bigger underlying problem here....But ever since I started this diet.....when I awake in the morning I have a pain in my right side just below the bottom rib line ....As soon as I take a p!ss in the morning it goes away , so last night I didn't eat it before I went to bed and woke with no pain...I know my diet isn't the greatest but I think it has a solid foundation to build from...It has given me 18 pounds of gain...I'll try to post up pics in the next couple of day so you can see where the weight has gone. I know I have alot of milk in my diet but I really like milk and it's a quick way to add protein and fat, so I really don't want to cut back on that part. Other than that I'm open to more suggestions if you would be so kind ...anyone...anyone at all...working with a small budget and difficult to eat at work, I've had to on more than one occassion eat in the bathroom...not the most pleasant meal mind you but do-able

Whats the timespan from you eating that last meal to the time you go to bed? If i eat then get straight into bed my guts kill all night. At least half an hour of digestion has to have taken place, for me anyway.A glass of Milk before bed is'nt to be sniffed at around 7g of protein per 200ml of semi skimmed.

So would a simple class of say 16oz of milk give me the same benefits I was getting from the cup of cottage cheese.

it's anywhere from a hour to a hour and a half before bed, but the pain was very pinpointable and not in my stomach which to be honest got me a little worried...

The fact that the pain eases off after you've been for a wiz could simply be down to having a full bladder and its pressing on or being pressed by other organs etc.Youre drinking plenty each day and going all night without an empty so its gonna build up a fair bit. The pain i get inside if i eat then lie down is right between the bottom half of my pecs in that soft area under the chest bone which is nowhere near my stomach.Had me worried but if i make sure i flush down my late meal with plenty of water and give things 30 minutes or so to get through me then i dont feel it.Cottage cheese is made from Milk so the Casein protein is the same.Having solid matter inside you is obviously causing you discomfort so drinking your 16oz,which is 473.12ml will provide you with around 15g of slow protein.

So I cut the cotttage cheese again last night and drank milk instead , but I woke this morning with pain. To night I will cut both and see what happens, then I will cut drink only but still take the cottage cheese ...That should narrow it down buy Monday...
