hey guys!
im currently boxing 3-4 times a week which is obviously alot of cardio work. just wondering if there are any supplements you guys could recommend to keep the muscle that I have gained from previously lifting weights! Im still doing a mix of weights and strenght training to try and maintain strenght.
any help would be great.

I'd go with a good MRP supplement, something like build and recover. My experience though is combat sports tend to rip muscle off, least ways they do off of me.

Whey protein before and after, as well as BCAAs during - that will do it.

just make sure your overall calorie intake is high, to maintain your weight you need to take in as many calories as your burning off. this is quite tricky to work out though so just up your food by around 300-400 calories a day ( an hours high intensity cardio will burn this) and watch your weight if it still drops up it a bit more, if it increase decrease your calories, build and recover will help with this because its in liquid form and easy to digest.

xx

cheers for all the help people! I have heard glutamine is good to take, does build and recovery have this in it or could I just add it myself if not? It's really hard to know at the minute how much i should be eating as I am just starting out having bouts for the first time and really need to keep my weight right while not losing strenght.
