that is pretty much what ive started. however is there anything i can do or use to stop myself going catabolic? also spped up the process of fat loss. i do speed interval running. fast paced walking. and use the cross trainer and cycle.

also is there an equation where i can work out what of my body is fat and what is muscle.

As long as you try to reduce your fat levels slowly then there should be minimum muscle loss. You may want to continue with your existing cardio as this is a good way to reduce fat with minimum muscle loss, and also possible take a look at your diet. If you can post up a typical days eating, im sure one of the more experianced guy's on here can advice as to best way forward regarsd your diet. Cardio wise your spot on mate./
