Funny Body Fat Story

We went into town to watch the Rugby yesterday afternoon, and as we were walking through Broadmarsh Centre we spotted a sign for Free Body Fat Tests.

"Nice" I though to myself, "Lets get one done, as I haven't checked my body fat in a few weeks. From the mirror I'm somewhere between 16% and 20%, which I'm calling 18%"

So we went over and the women shows us this electro-whatever-body fat checker, at which point I said "Ahh it doesn't matter love I thought it was going to be a 5 point caliper test. Those electro gismos dont work - you're gonna have to enter my age, height and weight and then it looks it up in a table internally. You need to press the button if it has one for Athletic mode to adjust for all my muscles."

"No no" say says "These are the latest com-busy-whats-its from the states. All the hospitals are using these. Honestly surgeons would not use these unless they are 100% accurate. These are more accurate than calipers"

So to cut whats turning into a long story short... I came out at 26.9% Bodyfat, which makes me officially obese...

She said the reading was so high as we must have eaten something - "yes love we've just been drinking beer, eating bacon cobs and watching the rugby!"

The moral of the story...

Eating bacon cobs, drinking beer and watching the rugby will make you fat.
