| Hi i'm a newbe to this forum so i thought i'd post my diet to see if i'm going in the right direction I'm 27, 6ft and 224lb my diet is as follows 6.30am protien shake with 250ml of skimmed milk 2 slices of wholemeal bread 2 slices turkey breast 9.30 protien shake with 250ml of skimmed milk 2 slices of wholemeal bread 5 egg whites 2 whole eggs 12.00 120g brown rice 200g chicken breast 2.00 protien shake with 250ml of skimmed milk 30g raisens 30g grapes 1/2 a mango 4.30 protien shake with 250ml of skimmed milk s slices wholemeal bread 5.00 train for about one hour 6.45 1 small jacket 120 g brown rice 200g chicken breast/lean steak 30g mixed veg 10.45 casien protien shake with water i stick to this diet 6 days a week useing saturday as a cheat day (still sticking to basic requierments), i've read a few articles regarding nutrition latley it says for my weight i should be consumeing +300g of protein +600g of carbs and over 5500 cals. is this true?? please help!!!!!! | |

I could but I'd need either AAS or alot of cardio and cutters to keep the fat off... I'm bulking on about 4500 kcals at the moment. Where did you get your numbers from? 300g protein is about right, but not 600g carbs each day... Diet looks very good. What are your aims? I'm guessing bulking? |

| hi guys thanks for your replies, I want to keep gaining mass untill just befor next summer and then cut up (hopefully) not tryed to cut back any body fat yet so i don't know how hard it is, i think i'm quite strickt on my diet i dont eat for pleasure just for fuel, i got my numbers on a bulking diet in musclemag it had a 28 page special on nutrition, i'm fairly new to this game but it's quickly taken over my whole life i eat sleep and breath bodybuilding, hoping you guys can give me some help and insperation to keep gaining, can anyone help with finding out body fat % Thanks again | |

And when your cutting your best bet is to go by the way you look. |

If it isnt, then presuming your training is Ok, then up the calories by adding peanut butter and upping the quantity of food...although on that amount of calories at your weight I would guess that it is probably working. | just wanted to now how to find out body fat % for future referance only been training for 1 year so i've still got lots to learn,my goals are to keep bulking for another year ish, as for working put 2 1/2 inches on my biceps and 3 inches on my chest in 1 year but seems to be going very slow at the moment!, not to sure if my training is too much or too little, anyone mind taking a look at it? | |
