Default Yummy Protein Shake Recipe

Morning,

I was getting fed up of regularly 'gipping' while trying to down my normal protein shakes (Self made from MyProteins Whey, Choc Powder, Oats and Maltro) - there is only so much watery oaty choccy drink you can drink...

So I decided to make a new drink which I though I'd share with you all.

4 Heaped Scoops Whey (200g, Approx 170g Protein)
2 Level Scoops Oats (Finely milled) (Approx 150g weight, 110g carbs)
2 Level Scoops Maltro (Approx 100g)

1 Tub (500ml) Fat Free Strawberry Bio Yoghurt
500ml Apple And Rasperry Juice

Stick the Yoghurt into the jug blender, then the powders and finally most of the Juice - hold some back just in case. Blend and taste - adding the rest of the juice or more juice if required.

I could drink it all day

I get about 3 large glasses from it. You should be able to play around with the powders depending on whether you are bulking or cutting.

TH&S

Decided to modify the shake today to reduce the carb count...

Took out the Maltro, and replaced with Whey instead.

So thats 6 scoops whey, 2 scoops oats.

Oh one thing I forgot to say is that you must seive the oats into the blender.

Otherwise it will be lumpy.
