Default Losing the belly

Hello All,
I've been training hard now for a good 18 weeks, I got some great advice from Doug and the team and the right supplements to help and I have seen some body shape changes (bigger biceps, traps and lats are the main ones). My workouts are a 3 day split and I have worked on a 6 week cycle starting off with 12-15 reps, then heavier and 8 - 10 reps and have just done the last 6 weeks of 4 - 6 reps and as heavy as I can lift, and during this time I have seen the weight I can lift jump big time (50 to 90 kg on the bench press, 55lb to 100lb on dumbell rows to name a couple)
The only thing that hasn't changed in this time is my beer belly (for want of a better word)
I don't tend to pay too much attention to the scales (i guess I weigh about 15 to 15 and a half stone at the moment) I'm just over 6 foot tall and have a 36 inch waist.
I'd like to get the belly down and look a bit more lean, and this is where I need the help. I've asked about in the gym, and everyone seems to have a different opinion, do cardio in the moring, do cardio on seperate days to weights, lift heavy and little reps, lift light and loads of reps. I don't know where to go.......
I'd like to keep the muscle gains i've made, and would love to come down to a 32 inch waist, so any help on how I can do this would be very much appreciated.
Cheers All.

Default Re: Losing the belly

Cardio and diet mate....

Ignore the timing for now and just do cardio at a good rate a few times per week.

The faster you want to lose your belly the more muscle you will lose with cardio...

On diet - make sure its clean and go 300-500 calories under maintenance.

I'm just rushing around at the moment - ill either come back and expand on my post or one of the other members may be around to help.
