Default Cutting advice

Hi guys,

I'm just starting a cut and trying to work out a good diet and I'm just wondering if there's any formula to use to work out how many carbs you should be taking in per day for your body weight if you wish to cut?

I'm going to be keeping my protein intake high (shakes & Tuna etc..) with low carbs and fat, for example

Breakfast:- Weetabix
10am - Protein shake
Dinner - Tuna\Chicken\Salad
2:30pm - Protein Shake
4:30pm - Banana
5:15pm - Train - 4 sets of weights + 20/30 minute cardio
6:30pm - Omlette
9:00pm - protein shake

I train 5 days a week, Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sun. I take multivitamin's etc but no other supplements

What do you think, any advice apprciated?

Im a little confused as to if I should be keeping my carbs down or just my calorie intake overall per day, in comparison to what I normally take in?

Im 24, 15st 9 and need to lose nearly a stone of fat I would think before Im cut.

Cheers.

Default Re: Cutting advice

ok, whatever amount you normally eat, then slightly less than that amount is ideal. if you don't know how many carbs you usually eat, i'd say start at around 350g per day. this should be low enough. if it's not, drop it slightly to maybe 300. monitor your progress, and adjust your diet accordingly.

good luck.
