Default When cutting???

I normally dedicate my diet to bulking as i am naturally skinny and have gained 2.5 stone over the last 2 years and have to eat alot to keep the weight on.

However lately i have gained quite a bit of body fat (for me) and with a pending trip to cancun at the end of march I want to cut up.

My solution is to keep my calorie intake high but exchange carbs for protiens and live on enough carbs to get through my weight training without becoming fatique or weaker. The amount of carbs ill need for this remains to be seen.

Is this the way forward???

Does any on else have any other tips???

Here's an option???

VPX - Dietex MRP ($32.99 for 20 servings)

Calories
178
Total Fat
2 g
Saturated Fat
1 g
Sugars
1 g
Protien
30 g

Keeps nutrients flowing throughout the day although is still good for low carb diet with only 10 grams of carbs per meal.

???

Diet wise; 1.5g protein per pound of lean body mass.
Carbs at 1g per pound of lean bodymass.
A Decent ammount of essential fats.
30 minutes of cardio before breakfast every day.

Should be a good starting point to shedding body fat. You can fine tune it as you go along.

Hi Barker

Just curious but why have you chosen to keep calorie intake high but exchange carbs for protiens ?

Here's the theory.....

If i reduce my calories i will undoutabley loose muscle mass so my theory is to keep my calorie in take high by eating lots of protiens.

I recently upt my calorie intake massively and the increase in muscle size were immense - however i think i was eating too many carbs and have put on alot of body fat.

I want to reduce my carbs in the hope that this will reduce my body fat.

I am doing 45 mins of cario before breakfast every morning keeping my heart rate at around 60-65% my max (fat burning).

The plan is once i have reduced my body fat back down to a suitable level i will increase my carbs to a level where my body fat will stay the same, at the moment however i want to loose body fat so need to eat less carbs than my body requires.
