Thumbs up Drinking Alcohol?

Hey guys,
got a question. I've just recently started my new, more focused, training and I'm doing the proper style of diet too ie eating protein and a balanced healthy diet including supplements (protein, creatine). Now I was intending to just cut out alcohol all together but should I do this or is it ok to have a drink. I tell myself that obviously it's best not to drink because putting alcohol into a body you're trying to develop seems a waste of focusing so strongly in other areas.
Basically I think I'm asking do any of you guys drink at all? and if so or if you have before did you notice if it affected you (not just the next morning lol)

Thanks guys

Hi Joey

i tend to not drink at all during the week, but I do like a glass or two on a Sat and Sun evening but I do not get hammered.

As Lee says in moderation and you are not looking to compete where the calories maybe a problem then it does no harm, in my case it helps to keep the sanity.

if im dieting i stay away, unless im stressed and/or having a hard time sleeping... at which point a couple of glasses of wine and/or something to knock me out on an evening means relaxation and getting a decent nights sleep... which is a fair trade off for me in terms of a few extra calories for a day and being stressed and not sleeping!

nice pout!

what do ppl think of a glass or two of red wine once a week as part of a cheat meal?

Ok if on target or ahead with the diet do you think or perhaps you think cheat meals are a bad idea....?

Opinions please
