Default Whole grain brown rice still starchy?

Ive decided to expand my menu from oatmeal and yams and add some whole grain brown rice today, but i noticed when i boiled it it was still a little starchy. was i wrong, was it not starch? and is this that bad for me?

i would use basmati rice instead the GI is much lower than white rice and tastes alot better than brown rice

ok thnx man, ill try the basmati, but other than taste is there any difference from brown or basmati?

basmati brown rice is lovely, better than normal basmati rice in my opinion.

Any rice should be brown, its only when it gets bleached does it climb the GI so much
