Default Bulking and losing fat?

Im looking to build muscle but also loose body fat to, is it possible. I dont care if I end up at 18st as long as my body fat comes off. Also do I need to cut back on cv training to help build muscle? My normal training week is weights at midday for about 45mins. Training a different body part each day. I then do around 30-45mins cv each night. This is for 5-6 days a weeks. Any advice would be great.

it is possible... but its a very fine line to do... some people can do this very well.. others cant!

so its not something that is reccomended very often!

personally id simply reccomend adding a time frame in which you want to build muscle and lose fat... say 6 months!

then have 3 months bulking and 3 months cutting! end result after 6 months if done correctly should be what your looking for!

Your not going to do both mate, as lossing fat = less calories, building muscle/bulkingup = excess calories.

I can't see how you can do both, also the 30-45 mins of cardio will not help to build muscle id personally cut this back to 3 times a week max.

Ive just tried a simular thing myself whilst on gear and ive not really gained a great deal of weight but have gained better quality which is what i was looking for (no weight loss and more cut)

Others will post a better response.

I think its possible to build muscle and lose fat as a newbie trainer, first 6 months or so. After that its questionable.

i agree with Lee here if you have a six month plan and plit into 2 then possibly but certainly not together, suppose it may be possibly but you would have to spot on with calories and calories used and everything else.

Cheers guys. That works out pretty good for me. Just had a few months of dieting, loads of cv and all that sort of stuff for my wedding, so means I can start a bulking stage now. Im in no rush and have no time limit so want to do it properly.

i have found it somewhat possible to do this, but like lee said, a very fine line. Supplements are required, whether its gear or not. Youll look good, a nice beach body or just a good physique. But i doubt u will excell in mass or cutness, youll be in between. Its what ive been doing for the past 3.5 months now, and im enjoying my physique.

Good diet, reasonable cardio ( 3 days a week maybe) and sensible weight training. But like i said it depends on what u really want. Staying lean its possible to gain muscle size, it just takes longer, but youll look good the entire time with some nice abs
