Default Supermarket Deals

Hi, i'm lucky enough to have most of the major supermarkets pretty close to me. Can't be bothered going around each one checking out good offers so was thinking could be good idea if people post them on here. Was in Asda today and they were doing two 4xtins of John West tuna for 3 quid.. bargain so stocked up big time. If anyone sees good deals on essential bb food stuffs get posting.

good idea for a thread

my secret is £4 for 1.4kg of frozen chicken breast at azda, as well as 27p/tuna can azda value.

the breasts aren't all that tasty and a bit rubbery, so if you can afford to go fresh i recommend it

Nick

think it's pretty well known that supermarkets pump water into them to get the weight up.
annoying when you buy a nice juicy bit of chicken, and when you've cooked it, it's shrunk to half the size!
gutting!

yeah you'll find the frozen breasts arent that great value tbh due to high water content.

I get 5kg of chick breasts for £17....and there fresh. But I work in catering and get them direct from suppliers

just look in the yellow pages for meat wholesalers... alot of them will also sell to the public.... i get most of my meat from a wholesaler... and its all best quality... you usually get an excellent service too cos they know you will tell other bodybuilders about the meat!!

think i pay about £34 for 10kg of fresh chicken breasts... which i just freeze myself.. so no added salt or water!
