Default Do I need more fiber in my diet?

Do I need more fiber?
Meal 1 oats with water
Meal 2 8 oz chicken or steak
Meal 3 protein shake 46g
Meal 4 16 oz chicken or steak/ veggie, fruit
Meal 5 protein shake 46g and fruit
Meal 6 8 oz chicken or steak/veggie
Some people have told me that its not enough fiber, I thought I would ask a professional. Or someone that knows what they are talkin about.

What is your goal? I assume weight loss from your current diet... hardly any carbs, no sign of any EFAs whatsoever.... fibre wise looks OK if the veggie and fruit servings are large...

tiny diet though..

Sorry to be young and metric but how much is 8oz. Also although Nick's food opinions are if its not nailed down eat it Definitely agree you need to up the calories through either low GI carbs (in the main don't want to get into any debates) or essential fats or both.

if your not sh*tting proper then yes you probs do need more fibre...

try eating veg with every meal... this should provide enough... it WONT have any effect on your overall diet.. as fibre isnt processed by the body.. just passes through the body!

also.. from any pharmacy.. or asda.. you should be able to get something called fibre force (its not spelt like that i dont think)... which is basically a drink in sachets... which is just fibre!

I agree with Nick, It depends a bit on what your goals are and how large & what type of veggies your eating.
If its 200g of Broccolli or sprouts or sweetcorn, then its OK If its Potatoes or Peas then it'll be a little on the light side in which case just add 50g All-Bran to your 3rd meal protein shake; that'll boost your daily fibre consumption by 14g and it's recommended you try get approx 30g fibre in your diet each day to help maintain intestinal integrity.
