Default is it possible...

hey, i used to do abit of BB a while ago whilst at college, took it quite serious, but now ive left college and got a full time job ive not had a chance to go gym and keep up on my shakes as much as id like to. I work 9-5 but with a few late stays etc..

So would anyone say its possible to increase body mass by a stone or two by only visiting the gym the gym once a week (possibly twice) and training at home a couple more times, bench press, bicep curls etc.. but it wont be as intense as a gym work out.

My diet has been quite good the last month (well i think so)..

Breakfast toast and cereal about 8 o'clockish

dinner 12 - bag of nuts, Flapjack, tuna sandwich, banana, shake (abot 50grams of protein) crisps, bar of choc (also at this time i take a multivitamin and an omega 3,6,9 tablet)

Supper 6o'clockish two fish steaks and mashed potato (quite a big meal)

then later before bed i have a shake and another decent sized meal tuna sandwich (with a full can of tuna) etc

also im drink well over 3litres of water daily...

ive got some creatine on the way, a few months supply to get me kick started back in the gym regime...

so, is it poss to gain weight, a figure etc with my erm, relaxed gym visiting attitude?

im trying to take BB as serious as i can, but fitting it in with a 9-5 is abit hard..

Thanks Sean

hi mate , your in the right place for advice, to pack on the mass u need to eat plenty and of the right things trainin and shakes alone wont, and speading the meals out tho the day every 2-3 hours helps, i work 9-5 and i manage to go gym 3 times a week,mon-wed-fri etc u cant beat a good gym workout the little extra effort to get to the gym with a good high cal deit would see good gains

just my view proberly wrong learning my self but good luck either way mate im sure there be a few more posts after mine !!

yeaa, had a thought about it and spoke to a few mates and im going to go gym with them 3 times a week.

You know what really pisses me off? People with good genetics. Ive got a couple of mates and no matter what they eat they stay huge. Ive got one mate who goes gym regulary, but not set to days, just when he feels like it and hes got a body like someone whose been training for years, his bicep is like my thigh, saying that, his neck probably is aswell. And this is without the help of protein shakes etc. basterd.

im not to sure about spreading the meals out through the day though, as the only time i get to eat at work is dinner.....weekends are fine though.

spose i need to tweak my diet, gym visits as i go along?

i agree.

the post about my mates was a joke, it might have come across abit serious, i just post like i speak, just taking it as though everyones got my sense of humour.

still though, some people have it alot easier than others, but oh well, just one of them things you have to get on with i spose and i dont see no reason why i cant catch them up (only 4st between us lol)

if i eat and train like a BB, then there no reason why i shouldnt progress?

only thing is, im starting boxing again and you seem to shed loads of weight, so the amount of food im going to be shovelling is going to be crazy.

anyway, im gonna get some pics up, so i can compare, post a new one every month or something? (i said id do this ages ago and never got round to it....)

Working 9-5 sucks?? Why not train in a morning??I'd love a job where I started at 9am I'd be able to go to the gym at 6.30 am and not rush round trying to get my workout before I start work at 7.30am. Some people you just can't please them
