Default Please critique my diet !! ...

Hi

As the thread says, really!

I'm 30, been training a good few years, have a few cycles under my belt, 6ft 2", 16 1/2 st/230lbs/105kgs, whichever you use lol !!!

on waking (7am)- 40g Whey in water

20 mins later - 4 x eggs scrambled with 2 slices wholemeal toast
+ either 100g oats or 4x weetabix in semi skim milk

10am - MRP with 1 extra scoop of protein added.
few big handfuls of either cashews or peanuts
1 x apple

1pm - lunch ( normally either chicken breast/salmon fillet/steak with either jacket pot or basmati rice & veg

4pm - 75g oats with 40g whey in semi skim milk

5pm TRAIN

6.15pm PWO shake

7.15pm dinner - normally chicken/tuna/steak/noodles/rice/pasta
with a cook in sauce.
1/2 - full tin of low fat rice pudding ( depends how full i am!)

10pm 200g cottage cheese with about 5 ryvita

The goal is really a bulker.

I'd have 1 cheat day per week, eating as much crap as i want. but still trying to keep protein intake high ( KFC, etc... )

Fire away!!...

I'd say thats a pretty massive diet of ~ 4000 cals you got there... looks great !

I'd have to say its probably not advised to have a full cheat 'day', but just a cheat 'meal', a cheat day will really pile on the fat lbs in my opinion. Are you currently on cycle/

Nick

Hi Nick

Not currently on cycle, but will be soon.

The cheat day seems to work well for me. Well, when I say cheat day its maybe only 2 of the meals i cheat on. Helps keep my metabolism ticking over and great for sanity! The cheat day will have very little impact on bodyfat storage, so long as the rest of the weeks diet/training are in check

I very seldom drink alcohol nowadays.

Also supplement with Glutamine, omega 369, VitC and sometimes creatine

looks good chris... give it a go for 2 weeks and check your progress... if your going up at the right rate 1-2lb a week stick to it... if you level off or go up too fast or down even then obviously take some calories out or add more in etc...

once you know that your growing on this diet start your course!

i didnt see any kit kats in there???

i really need to sort my diet out... gonna go see morgan soon so he can get me all sorted ready to be huge before i start my next course!! lol
